Who We Are

Mission: To allow survivors of domestic violence and their children to pursue safe and healthy lives by providing safe, transitional housing.

Safe Path is a transitional housing program that allows survivors of domestic violence and their children to pursue safe and healthy lives. The Safe Path facility is at an undisclosed, secured location. In collaboration with Portage Metropolitan Housing Authority, many participants are eligible for reduced rent and security deposit help.

What We Do

Participants may stay at Safe Path for up to two years while they work on building a violence free life and attaining safe permanent housing. There is also a case management office on site. Case managers can provide assistance with school enrollment, daycare, legal advocacy, employment, housing, education and benefits to assist in meeting goals and building the self-sufficiency of their residents.
