Who We Are
Mission: To support and enhance programs and services the library offers for the community.
Friends of Kent Free Library is a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to support the Kent Free Library’s services and programs.
A seven-member Board of Directors governs the Friends of Kent Free Library. Board members are elected annually. The Friends work in collaboration with the library’s Director and Board of Trustees.
What We Do
We sort donated books weekly to be offered for sale or donated to other organizations. Each year, we also organize a semi-annual sale as our only fundraiser.
