Haymaker partnered with KSU's Wick Poetry Center for the "Market Stanzas" community project - collecting the Market memories of shoppers, vendors, and friends and Each+Every designed a beautiful mural with the "Haymaker Community Poem". This project is made possible by the hanks to generous support from The Woodward Foundation, the Rotary Foundation, and the City of Kent!
"Market Stanzas" work began in 2022 at Haymaker's 30th anniversary celebration and in June 2024 we began the restoration and design phase for the mural project.
Local KSU artist Angelina Colasante is our lead installation artist and Haymaker staff and volunteer painters finished restoration of the existing mural in November 2024. New mural installation work began in May 2025!
