United Way of Portage County has registered to have our organization represented in the Kent State University Homecoming Parade on Saturday, October 1st. We are looking for volunteers to join us walking in the parade in United Way gear! The parade is planned to start at 10:30am on Kent’s Campus and end by 11:30am downtown on Water Street. Better timing will be provided as the event comes closer. Candy will be provided to hand out to parade attendees. The parade will travel 1 mile, parade will line up starting at 9a.m.
